Itineraries

Day 1

Saigon Arrival

Depart for Saigon, the bustling city of Vietnam. Meal: Inflight. Accommodation: Hotel in Saigon.

Day 2

Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels

Spend a half day tour to visit the famous Cu Chi tunnels, a byzantine maze of underground passages, chambers and booby traps used by both the Viet Minh and the Viet Cong during the Vietnam-US war. Afterwards, return to the city centre by early afternoon and explore Saigon’s highlights including the Old Saigon Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Opera House, Independence Palace and have fun shopping at Ben Thanh Market. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch. Accommodation: Hotel in Saigon.

Day 3

Saigon Free Day – Optional Tour to Mekong Delta

Today you are free at leisure. Meal: Breakfast. Accommodation: Hotel in Saigon. Optional Mekong River Cruise Tour Embark on a cruise to Ben Tre river and visit brickwork, coconut processing workshop, a local village making sleep mattresses. Continue taking a motor cart (xe lôi) or cycling through the green rice fields and vegetable plains. Lunch is served at the restaurant riverside. In the afternoon, sail through water palm creek by rowboat and get back to Hung Vuong Pier for departing to Saigon.

Day 4

Saigon – Flight to Da Nang – Hoi An

Our driver and tour guide will pick you up at the airport and take you to check in your hotel in Hoi An. Meal: Breakfast. Accommodation: Hotel in Hoi An. Optional Golden Bridge Tour Admire the astounding bridge lifted by two “hands of the Gods” in Ba Na Hill. From this amazing man-made wonders, you can enjoy the marvellous scenery of natures from above. Take this tour and walk among your fairy tales.

Day 5

Hoi An Free Day

Today, spend your day at leisure. Meal: Breakfast. Accommodation: Hotel in Hoi An. Optional Hoi An Cooking Class Tour A chance for you to experience all the typical features of traditional Vietnamese cuisine and master your cooking skills with unique recipes. Optional My Son Sanctuary and Thanh Ha Village Tour My Son sanctuary, a great sample of ancient Champa civilization situated in the southern region of Vietnam. Stand astounded by a great number of exquisite stone sculptures, temples and towers nestled in a tropical jungle.

Day 6

Hoi An - Hue

After breakfast, get ready for a 2-hour drive to Hue. Upon arrival, visit Imperial Citadel, the Tomb of Tu Duc, Tomb of Nguyen Dynasty and traditional Thien Mu Pagoda. Then take a cruise on the placid Perfume River. Shop at Dong Ba market before checking in your hotel in the late afternoon. Meal: Breakfast. Accommodation: Hotel in Hue.

Day 7

Hue – Flight to Hanoi

After breakfast, get transferred to the airport for a flight to Hanoi capital. On arrival, take a Hanoi city tour to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One-Pillar Pagoda and Temple of Literature. Meal: Breakfast. Accommodation: Hotel in Hanoi.

Day 8

Hanoi – Halong Bay

Take a 3.5-hour transfer by bus from Hanoi to Halong, one of the World Seven Wonders. On arrival, embark on a boat trip to explore one of the World’s greatest natural wonders with thousands of limestone islands filled with caves of all shapes and sizes. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Accommodation: Overnight Cruise in Halong.

Day 9

Halong Bay – Hanoi

Awake early and join a Tai Chi session on the top deck or simply enjoy the sunrise over the bay’s towering islands. Have a morning cup of coffee or tea before exploring nearby islands by rowboat. Return to the junk and drive back to Hanoi. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch. Accommodation: Hotel in Hanoi. Optional Hanoi Street Food Tour Enjoy a walk around the Old Quarter in the afternoon and have a taste of Northern Vietnamese delicacies such as stuffed pancake, Banh My, stuffed sticky rice balls, the unique egg coffee and many more.

Day 10

Hanoi – Flight to Luang Prabang

After breakfast, you will be taken to the airport for a flight to Luang Prabang. On arrival, our driver and tour guide will get you to check in your hotel. Meal: Breakfast. Accommodation: Hotel in Luang Prabang.

Day 11

Luang Prabang City Tour - Kuangsi Waterfall

Wake up early for observing morning ritual of sarong-clad monks, then visit Royal Palace, Vat Xieng Thong, Vat May, VatVisoun, Vat Aham and Vat Senna. Stand astounded by Kuangsi Waterfall, Ban Na Oune and Ban Tha Pane before coming back to Luang Prabang in the late afternoon. Climb up Mt. Phousi for the sunset panoramic view on your way back. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch. Accommodation: Hotel in Luang Prabang.

Day 12

Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Caves

After breakfast, take an excursion by boat upstream on the Mekong Delta to visit Pak Ou caves. Arriving back to Luang Prabang in the late afternoon and continue visiting Ban Xangkhong. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch. Accommodation: Hotel in Luang Prabang.

Day 13

Luang Prabang – Flight to Siem Reap

Spend the time at leisure and get ready for a flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Meal: Breakfast. Accommodation: Hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 14

Siem Reap – Angkor Temples

Spend a full day discovering the mystical Angkor temples. Your day starts with a visit to Angkor Wat. Next stop will be the ancient Ta Prohm Monastery. In the afternoon, visit Angkor Thom, Bayon, Elephant Terrace and Leper King Terrace. Meal: Breakfast. Accommodation: Hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 15

Siem Reap – Phnom Penh

Today, leave Siem Reap in the morning to Phnom Penh capital (6-hour trip by bus). On arrival, check in your hotel and spend your free time at leisure. Meal: Breakfast. Accommodation: Hotel in Phnom Penh. Optional Tonle Sap Lake Tour Hop on a private boat to Tonle Sap Lake and visit unique villages with gardens, market, and restaurants all floating on water.

Day 16

Phnom Penh City Tour

Later, tour to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum then visit Choeung Ek Killing Field, a monument of tortured victims. Meal: Breakfast. Accommodation: Hotel in Phnom Penh.

Day 17

Phnom Penh Free Day

Enjoy your day at leisure. Meal: Breakfast. Accommodation: Hotel in Phnom Penh. Optional Private: Phnom Penh Sunset Cruise Tour Board the cruise to enjoy the romantic sunset at the junction of the Tonie Bassac, Tonie Sap and Mekong River.

Day 18

Phnom Penh – Depart

Today you will enjoy free time at leisure until late check–out. We will transfer you to the Airport for your return flight home. Meal: Breakfast. Accommodation: N/A.
